Thank God for Bush What better man than he To teach the world of foolishness And proud stupidity?
Thank God for Bush And thank the GOP For showing us how not to lead How not to try to be
Thank God for Bush He brought us to this place Of suffering, indignity Humility, disgrace
Thank God for Bush In loss we learn to grow Our aching wounds have taught us all Some things we didn't know
Thank God for Bush Karl Rove and Tom DeLay We needed their dishonesty We thought crime didn't pay
Thank God for Bush Uniter of us all In victimhood, experience of False pride, false strength, a fall
Thank God for Bush But don't thank Bush for God God doesn't need publicity Especially from a clod
Thank God for Bush The going has been rough Mysterious lessons have been learned But thanks, we've had enough

often only through something's absence do we learn to truly treasure its presence.
Through the antithesis of decent and true representative leadership perhaps we can recreate some.
It's a fervant hope anyhoo.

4. You know what might be an interesting "experiment?" |
|
Stick that up on the web in a blog entitled THANK GOD FOR BUSH with comments enabled, toss the URL around here and there without any explanation one way or another, and see what kind of remarks come back.
You know there would have to be a load of 'yeps' and 'no shits' and 'right ons' but the defenders' remarks would be the most interesting...a way to crack open the soft heads of those who continue to think this guy is doing a heckuva job...
