The temp just hit 112 degrees. A bit north of Muskogee, OK. |
|
This is insane. I'm terrified of the next electric bill (and water too, have the sprinkler going for the doggies).

Okla, Arkansas & MO. It sucks.

6. SW AZ is having below normal temps - |
|
What is going on with the crazy weather? I found the pool a tad too cool for my late nite swim last nite and slept with the windows open. This is normally the hottest time of the year.

10. Wow! Well, there's a stagnating high pressure sitting right on top |
|
of us, and it ain't going anyplace fast so we don't even have a chance for rain (but a short shower would probably just make it even more unbearable...from an oven to a steambath)

12. Why, Karl, you should come to OKC-- |
|
right now, at 5:42 pm, it's 102 with a heat index of 101.
I'm getting out the blankets so we don't freeze. :hide:
Seriously, is this heat EVER gonna end? I'm sick of it. Even the dog has abandoned working on her tan in the west bedroom window, and if it's too hot for her, that's saying something. She's a real sun hound.
