He doesn't have enough brain to generate even a light rain, let alone a storm.

8. They are probbaly having hymn sings and prayer rallies with their |
|
church leaders. I read/saw an article where they have hymn sings at Camp David. Ashcroft would sing while Rice plays the piano. Maybe they have that bunch of fundamentalist TV preachers in there to lead them in Texas.

14. Sounds like something Karen Hughes would make up. |
|
You remember she's the one who started gibbering, during the 2000 Presidential campaign, that Bush had acquired a "Presidential" bearing! Oddest damned thing I've ever heard.
It was similar to her coming out to announce he had started speaking Chinese fluently!

no doubt. Remember the last time they made hay in Crawford in August, we had 9-11. Wonder what witches brew they are stirring up now?

20. Bush's brainstorm of April 27, 2005 to overcome rising disapproval polls |
|
...over higher energy costs:
<snip> Bush's brainstorm today was to let oil companies build new refineries on closed military bases, a gift from the federal government to the cash-bloated oil industry. I'm sure that local communities, that were looking forward to converting those closed bases to economic development of their own choosing and to the liking of the local residents, would be thrilled at the thought of having an ecological nightmare granted to an oil company in their back yard. However, since some of our military bases were strategically placed in remote locations, how plausible is it to drop an oil refinery at these sites?
Then another of Bush's bright ideas to reduce the illegal immigration problem happened in April 2006:
<snip> So George Bush promotes a worker program that is so idiotic, Republicans wish that a Democrat had come up with it, so they’d feel better about ridiculing it. Suggesting that after working in this country for a number of years, Mexicans will simply return to their country, and take their place at the back of the immigration line is perhaps the single most stupid, most naïve notion I’ve ever heard. Even a four-year-old would recognize Bush's brainstorm as amnesty in sheep’s clothing.
Then in July 2006 Bush and Rove came up with their brainstorm about the latest "Terrorist Aspirational Scare":
<snip> The first "reports" coming from the Rovian propaganda machine claimed that a vague group of suspected terrorists were planning to flood lower Manhattan by blowing up the Holland or Lincoln Tunnels.
There was just one major problem with this latest "scare them into voting Republican for a third time" tactic: it defied the laws of gravity and basic physics.
You see, Manhattan is ABOVE sea level. A body of water, such as the Hudson River, won't rise UP without a rather sophisticated plumbing system. In short, bombing the Holland or Lincoln Tunnels could not possibly, according to the law of physics, flood lower Manhattan and "ruin the American economy by destroying Wall Street." <end>
These are not so much brainstorms as brain-farts!
