Is there any chance voters won't turn out for Lamont on Tuesday?
I was actually surprised at how low the number seemed of people changing their party affiliation from Independent to Democrat in CT (on Meet the Press the said 11,000).

Now I'm in CT and will certainly be voting on Tuesday, but I don't see as much enthusiasm locally as I do elsewhere. Now, I do live in a Republican town, but I just don't see as much visibility of the election as I'd like to. The most energized people I see are the kids and I always get a bit nervous on whether they will show up to vote (and I don't mean that as an insult to the youth... I'm pretty young myself)

Maybe I just don't want to think of it as a sure fire thing and have a big let down. Are you very confidant?

1. I fear the MSM repeating that Lamont is 10 points ahead is meant to
make the progressives overconfident so some will think they don't need to go to the polls to vote... It is far from over - I just hope that Lamont wins and wins in a landslide - thus shaming HolyJoe out of any idea of running as an independent...

3. Of course, that can work both ways.
Joementum lovers might hear that their guy is over 10 points down, decide its a hopeless cause and they don't need to go to the polls to vote.

I hear you loud and clear, though. You never can tell how the vote that counts will turn out, no matter how many "if-the-election-were-held-today" polls there are. And that is especially true after the past several election cycles.

I guess we'll all know Tuesday night.

5. I'm with you in spirit at least.
Being registered in Tennessee, I don't guess they'd let me vote in Connecticut tomorrow. But I'll be watching the returns tomorrow night all the same.
