1. Good for her
I'm glad she's still keeping a focus on the war in Iraq. Without her activism, Bush and the GOP would have the public focused on some other trumped up crisis. Her job is a difficult one and she's to be commended.

3. When I opened this post and viewed the pic I thought Kent State shootings
May 4, 1970

It has been over 36 years now but it was like it happened only yesterday.
<sorry, I forget how to post a photo>

<snip>
...it's very hard to ignore that Kent State thing.

They were down there, man, ready to do it.

You can see them, they're all kneeling there,

they're all in the kneeling position

and they got their slings tight

and they're ready to shoot.

And there's this kid, this long-haired kid

standin' there with a flag wavin' it...

I mean, I cannot be a man,

and be a human, and ignore that."

-- DAVID CROSBY,

ROLLING STONE magazine interview, July 23, 1970, pp. 22-23.

Unarmed Kent State University student Alan Canfora faces the Ohio National Guard on the Kent State campus on May 4, 1970. Moments later they opened fire into the crowd of students, firing 67 shots in 13 seconds. Four students were killed, nine were injured. Alan dove behind a tree but was still shot in the hand. 6. I love it!
I hope that bastard with whom she wishes to speak, leaves town and the state after he leaves office! I'd much rather keep Cindy.
