Bush supports Democracy in the Middle East.... |
|
By allowing Isreal to blow the shit out of one of the few countries in the Middle East with a working Democracy. (officially a Republic but so is the US)
So what is going to emerge from the rubble?
Oooo let me guess....some kind of U.S./Israeli controlled puppet police state.

yet all of his allies in the ME are monarchies - Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman.
We are told this is a war against tyranny and for democracy/religious freedom/women's rights etc, and yet these particular countries are never mentioned. The neocons and RW pundits tell us about the "ideology of hate" of muslims/arabs and the "arc of extremism" but again these countries are never mentioned.
I personally have nothing against these countries, they are soveriegn nations and should be dealt with through the usual diplomatic channels. But it makes me wonder if I should hate all muslims/arabs or just the ones on the TV news? Or do the neocons assume that we have no knowledge of geography?
