Bush salivating over future of Cuba.
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 04:52 PM by Jara sang
I used http://ets.freetranslation.com/ to translate this page from the Radio Marti website as there is no "english" option on the original. Lot's of mistakes, for instance, the word "town" should be replaced with the word "people". It is interesting though that some of the mistakes are real gems, like calling Bush a "proxy" and also referring to a future Cuban government as a "company".

English translation:

ITSELF DIRIJE BUSH AL Cuban TOWN

The u.s. president, George W. Bush, assured this Monday that depends on the Cuban town the decision to transform to its country since a tyrannical situation.

In statements to the press in his rancho in Crawford, Texas, Bush said that the Cubans should define his future.

The proxy added that United States he desires that the town of Cuba can choose its own form of government.

Bush added that wants to leave very clear that Cuba has the possibility to be transformed of a tyrannical situation to another type of company, and that the decision corresponds him al town of the island.

On the other hand, Bush said that he does not know the state of health of Fidel Castro, who delegated the power in his brother, Raúl I Neuter, July 31 due to a surgical intervention, according to the official version.

The American president stood out that when the town of Cuba decide to form a government, then the Cubans exiled in the United States will be able to be implied in the matters of the island and to treat the theme of the properties confiscated by the state castrista.

1. Last I heard, Fidel was recovering nicely and expected to return to power.
He's way too much of a curmudgeon, I think, to ever give Chimpy the satisfaction of dying on his watch.

5. Is a more democratic socialism acceptable to any capitalist on earth?
I don't feel capitalists would ever accept a people who start experimenting with things like market socialism after Castro is gone.

7. I will never understand why some Cuban Americans would...
like Cuba to go back to the days you described. We never hear about the poor Cubans, during Batista, from those that long for the good old times.

8. The Cubans Castro kicked out were the WEALTH Y ONES tied into all
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 07:16 PM by KoKo01
this crap that went on and they and G. Gordon Liddy (WATERGATE BREAK IN) and an American President was ASSASSINATED over CUBA and the INTERESTS THAT RAN IT! Like the Repugs...the Cubans kicked out with the Revolution ...NEVER GAVE UP their rights to their former "ill gotten goods" with gambling, prostituion and the American Companies that supported their Lifestyle. I don't go along with all Castro did by any means...but you have so many American/Cubans (or so they claim to be American Cubans) still fighting the 50's Cold War because they (the Corporatist Families) were Kicked out of Cuba that the HATE STILL STAYS!

Google "Kennedy Assassination, Mafia" and you will get alot of dirt about this. They NEVER GIVE UP!!!
