This search list is valuable evidence for nailing the murderous bastard after he commits a crime, and is valuable evidence proving that we need to allow all people access to the internet.

If someone wants to commit a murder, they can do it very well without the internet. Ask Jack the Ripper.

4. You can get court subpoenas for this if needed

IF you have a suspect, you can get the court to issue a warrant that allows you access to pretty much everything - including stuff like internet and phone records. It shouldn't be used as a data mine to try to find potential suspects.
