Bush Rules Out Senate Run for First Lady ???
Nothing like keeping the little lady in her place. "Hey, Laura! Get your ass back in the kitchen!"

STERLING, Va. (AP) -- The Senate may be the place for some former first ladies, but President Bush on Thursday categorically ruled out a run for office by his wife, Laura Bush.

''She's not interested in running for office. She's interested in literacy,'' Bush said during an appearance at JK Moving & Storage here.

The topic came up as the president took questions from his audience after a speech on the economy. A woman asked if Mrs. Bush would ever run for Senate from the first couple's home state of Texas, and Bush responded ''never'' -- twice.

He also declined the woman's plea that she at least ask Mrs. Bush if she might be willing.

''She's a great lady,'' the president said. ''She's not interested in running for office.''

4. Poor Laura, how embarrassing for her. He answers for her.
All he had to say was, you will have to ask her that question.

10. Meaning "Great Ladies" dont run for office?
WTF? Bet Libby Dole is pissed!

So Laura is interested in literacy...but can't remember the name of a hurricane that has killed thousands? Not to mention her hubby, who has laid claim to fame by murdering the english language?

I can't speak for all women, but I am offended that bush can't seem to find one qualified woman, in the whole of the U.S., to replace Sandra Day O'Connor.

Funny how this "Great Lady" has managed to raise 2 unemployed drunks and can't drive without taking some one out. But what are Laura's qualifications anyway? Staying married to a rich drunk, with no career of her own? Queen of Botox? Can't wait to see Laura push for womens rights in Saudi Arabia.

Guess what bush, there are plenty of "Great Ladies" out there, too bad you don't think enough of women to see anyone of them could have easily replaced O'Connor. We're not all as dumb as stump like laura, you know.
