It's time to fight back. My ideas.

1. Don't let Republicans run unopposed ANYWHERE. Run somebody against them, anyone will do. Run the oldest Democrat in town, a war hero, a cicada, just so someone can oppose the Republican in your District or in your State.

2. Now is the time to dig up information and research and TALK about Scandals. Abramoff is just one out of many Republican Scandals. Let's talk about Abramoff, but let's also force a debate on Jeff Gannon, the DSM, Valerie Plame, Tom DeLay, Scooter Libby, Bill Frist's Insider Trading, Enron, etc.

3. Just say "NO" to the debate on 'moral values'. Don't let Republicans talk about their illusions of moral values, force debate on the REAL Moral Issues, like the things I mentioned above.

4. Hope. We can change this all, we can't believe the propaganda, and we can't believe the lies.

1. I'd say reform the debate on "moral values"

For example, if someone asks if I'm "pro-life", I would say yes-because I'm for helping families by making sure folks make a living wage, have access to health care, that there's a social safety net if folks fall on hard times. I'd question the "Christianity" of any repuke who supports the rich at the expense of the poor, and would quote Sojourners newsletter to bring my points home.
