2. Wow.
Cautiously optomistic here in California. Great site, by the way.

7. Wow indeed...
Haven't followed Lieberman's troubles closely, but losing your home district as an incumbent? Yikes. But is this really good in the long run--will Joe run as an Independant and hand the seat over to the Republicans?

14. I think if Joe decides to run as an independant....
he will lose many who are voting for him now to Lamont.

3. LOL... Buh Bye Joe!
Not nice knowing your character... you know? The one you wear like a suit in front of the camera and in front of your once faithful supporters. Serves you right to go down naked.

10. MyDD report
Direct word from the campaign: 6,500 vote margin for Lamont with 15% reporting. And Lieberman did lose his home precinct.
Lamont 56%--Lieberman 44%. 7% reporting. The vote margin is around 2,700 votes. I just heard that Lieberman lost his own precinct. I can't verify that.
Lamont 60%--Lieberman 40%. 3% reporting.
Lamont 61%--Lieberman 39%. 2.5% reporting. A great start, but very early.
Lamont 60%--Lieberman 40%. 2% reporting.
Lamont 61%--Lieberman 39%. 1% reporting.
Lamont 57%--Lieberman 43%. 1% reporting.

(update from Matt as the town amounts roll in from Lamont poll watchers - Chapman School in district 2, in Chesire is 116-105 Lieberman... Meriden is going for Lamont, and it should be Joe territory)

11. If we go to bed with Ned ahead 10 points, and wake up with Joe winning...
I'm gonna freakin' puke. The SOS of CT, Susan Bycowicz just announced that the official election monitoring web site has crashed and is offline. Just as the first results are coming in showing Joe getting hammered. I don't like this one bit.

12. Joe is closing in...
Everyone should not be celebrating just yet. Tomorrow will be a very somber day for me if LIEberman pulls through...

Every tally has him pulling closer and closer...

13. We must resist the urge to celebrate early for sure
I hate when people here do that - I'll not forget telling people to calm the fuck down in Nov. 2004 :(

I sure hope she doesn't know what she's talking about...as usual.
