16. I sincerely hope that Harry Reid adopts the suggestion
Put forth on Air America today that he strips Lieberman of all his committees if he dares to run as an independent. You don't get to claim the benefits of being a Democrat if you refuse to submit to the will of Democratic voters when they have made their wishes known. Yay Lamont!

17. I think Joe just jumped the shark with this speech
if Lamont is on the ball he'll take Joe's speech and stuff it back down Joe's throat. Joe didn't look good in that speech and he gave Ned about 20 great oneliners and softballs to knock out of the park.

After you call Joe call Reid's office and tell him to remove Joe from everyone of his committee seats effective immediately

This rat bastard pathetic freak will not prevail - I'm sending a check to Ned tomorrow....

Edited on Tue Aug-08-06 10:45 PM by Tin Man
Ned voters were correct: Joe was never a Democrat, as he made official in his "concession" speech.

Go to hell, Joe.

26. Joe Lieberman is no Democratic - he is all about HIMSELF!
As soon as the DNC, DLC and the rest of the Democratic Leadership realize this and distance themselves from that selfish, narcissitic piece of crap, the better off we will all be.

What would Harry Reid think if we had a chance to win the majority of the Senate in November but because Lieberman ran as an Independent that won, that the Republicans actually retained the majority due to CT's seat not being counted as Dem? Who cares how the votes of Lieberman go...In the end, its who retains/gains majority of the Senate...in the end, Lieberman may go down as the Democrat's "Jeffords"....

29. so long, holy joe
you've decided your candidacy is more important than the party that gave you everything you hold dear. Were it not for the democratic party, you would not be where you are today. But today you decided you're bigger than the party.

Perhaps you're just addicted to losing, and so you want to have one more taste of defeat?
