Imagine Lieberman had put up this fight when they stole Florida! |
|
Nope. Much easier to side with Bush and beat up on a Dem.
Lieberman in a nutshell. The man is a sleeper cell to himself.

Malcolm used to talk about how dogs will growl and fight to protect their master, but will usually put their tail between their legs and run from a confrontation that threatens only themselves. That pretty much sums up old Joe. He'll fight hard to protect the neoconservative agenda.

This entire situation could be more revealing to Democrats. The ties that bind are out in the open for all to see. Moments of clarity like this don't happen often in politics.

3. That remains the root of it ... and will continue |
|
(Reposting from an earlier thread about the attempt to pigeon-hole this as purely "Anti-War.")
The root of it remains the Stolen Election. And the failure of Dem "leaders" to stand against it that Jan. 6th, 2001.
That was the day the contract known as the US Constitution was put into breach.
That is the reality that dare not be spoken among the DC/Euphemedia Analstocracy.
It continues to eat its way through our social and political fabric like an acid. Most visibly in the horrors of this never-elected, never-legitimate regime. But also in what the Euphemedia glibly labels as the "divided nation," which is less along Dem/Rep lines as it is between those who can handle reality and those who prefer the delusion of neofascism.
Those who can handle reality are the ones who know Impeachment and War Crime prosecutions are necessary to Redeem Our National Soul.
Lieberman is but the poster boy for the deluded Dem members of the Analstocracy. He is also merely the low hanging fruit -- a target of opportunity. The others have not been given a pass (No, not even Gore and Kerry). Their acts of spinelessness and complicity are not being forgotten.
No, this is not an "anti-war movement." (That's just the best sign to be carrying into this battle.)
This is what "not getting over it" looks like. Get used to it. It's never going away.

4. No matter the outcome, we would be living in a very different 2006. |
|
And a LOT more of us would be LIVING in that alternate 2006.
You really DID put it in a nutshell quite well: He was a one-man sleeper-cell. And just about the most devastating one in recorded human history.

5. K&R for the TRUTH. ...but now, he has nowhere to go. Is this the end of |
|
Little Joe?
Should be. He did the cake walk in FL. Lousy VP candidate, all about his ego then it's overtime and he's giving up, smiling. What goes around comes around. Lamont will paste him in the general.

1. Davis Guggenheim directed An Inconvenient Truth, not Al Gore.
2. An Inconvenient Truth was not even in the planning stages in 2000.
3. Lieberman was the one who insisted the vote counting be stopped.

12. Great call. Great, great call. Lieberman was using the Democratic |
|
party for his own personal interests. He probably knew Bush could follow the Lieberman agenda better than Gore ever would, that's why he was in the right place at the right time to stop Gore from fighting.
Lieberman sucks ass.

19. This is very much the best kept secret in America |
|
Though the evidence is there for all to see:
- Very close to the neo-cons - Supported the PNAC agenda - PNAC was urging Clinton to implement the plan - Sold himself as the guy who could carry Florida for the ticket - Threw in the towel immediately - Giddy at the invasion of Iraq - Bush enabler extraordinaire

21. I've been thinking the same thing. |
|
After his really disgusting concession speech last night, complete with the phony claims of being hacked, I regret voting for him. I don't regret voting for Al Gore and I consider him to be the true President. But Lieberman REALLY had me snowed.
