However as many others have already pointed out, with Joe going Indy, he may end up splitting the Dem vote, plus he could very well pick up a good portion of the Repub vote as well.

2. For the love of god..
.... get real. This election result will go down in HISTORY whether we win the seat in November or not, which IMHO we CAN win with a bit of luck.

We sent an offending incumbent packing. We sent a message to the appeasers and the "go along to get along" crowd that acting like that puts your cushy-ass perk-encrusted job at risk.

I'm not prone to bouts of irrational optimism. This is a big win for Democrats, a HUGE win that will send shivers up the spines of many Dems and more Repugs, and worrying about details is not going to bring me down.
