I hope in the next few days Wes Clark, John Edwards, John Kerry,
Bill Richardson, Hillary Clinton, Tom Vilsack, Mark Warner, Russ Feingold, and other prospective Democratic 08 candidates show up in the Nutmeg State to endorse the DEMOCRATIC nominee, Ned Lamont.

It would be real groovey to have Al Gore endorse Ned also.

What a puke Joe Lieberman is.

1. Yes, this is a fight, Lieberman can't win as a Dem. then let us
toss him overboard with the rats, I say. It will be very interesting to see how the DLC plays this, because, if they think they are the chosen, then let the games begin!

20. I will never forget Barbara Boxer. I have volunteered for her and
relegate her endorsement of Lieberman to the far, far sidelines.

Her virtues as a human being and a U.S. Senator eclipse those of most of the rest of that chamber.

I stand with Senator Boxer, and hope she finds a place in the next Democratic administration.

3. Amen. That would be great.
And a real sign of party unity.

And oh by the way, get lost, Joe.

And I hope Dean is on the phone right now getting a PC together in the next 24 hours w/ as many Democratic heavyweights as he can for just this purpose..

5. Stephen Colbert's endorsement will be critical!
I just don't know who the benficiary would be.

But seriously, Howard Dean needs to do what he can to fully support Lamont. Lamont's win needs to stick. Otherwise, the primary process won't be worth a hill of beans.

13. Agreed. The money matters now especially. For the primary
Paul Newman and Jackson Browne both contributed handsome sums.

If Ned's good enough for a donation from those two, he's good enough for a donation from me, too.

10. Hillary, Vilsack, Richardson, and Warner can stay the Hell away.....
Nobody NEEDS their endorsement. Their posterboy lost. And let him be the first of many to follow.

11. Wes Clark has been against the war from the start.
Michael Moore endorsed him because of his Iraq war stance/. I am sure that he will eventually pay a visit and endorse Senator to be Lamont.

12. It would be great, but, expect a few of them to wait for opinion polls 1st
If Lieberman takes the lead in early polls, I expect to see at least a few national Dems back off from Lamont. Those will be the people whose names we need to write down.

14. I think Wes would especially relish this: considering Joe kept
calling Wes a fake Democrat during the 2004 primary debates.

Talk about IRONY!

18. Yes. Absolutely. Joe was not the most respectful of candidates
and General Clark seemed more victimized by Joe than was ever called for.

But Clark went on to win in primary contests while Joementum fizzled.

And tonight Ned Lamont has defeated Joe again.

As I connect the dots... etc.

So I would imagine he'll be forthcoming.

I'd love to see him campaigning with Ned Lamont.

21. Didn't Bill Clinton support Lieberman on the CONDITION that ...
Lieberman would support the primary winner?

I recall that being widely stated. If true, Lieberman has broken that pledge, which automatically disqualifies him from support from any Democrat.

Am I wrong?
