Joe, did I hear you right in your "concession" speech. You, the man of morals, the self-anointed "conscience" of the Democratic Party, the man who wanted to censure Clinton due to his lack of integrity. I thought I heard you to say that the primary result was just the first half of your campaign.
That you would be running as an "independent Democrat" -- someone who would put an end to "division" and "partisanship" in Washington. And I thought I heard you ask for money from those who thought like you.

These are weasel words, Joe. Republican words. You want to be a "uniter" and not a "divider". Those words sound so like your good friend, the man you kissed, the President.

You must think you're indispensible, Joe. That the Democrats of Connecticut are wrong. So are you a Democrat, Joe? Will you split the party and run as an independent and turn your back on the virtues of loyalty, morality, and gratitude that you pay lip service to? Are you a Republican now, Joe?
