Anyone seen any bookmakers odds on the 3 person race? |
|

5. If she won the Dem primary, I would certainly work for her |
|
to be President, considering the alternative would be the Republican.

6. Can't stand the woman. She's a sell out. |
|
She would sell her soul to be president and probably already has.
I don't trust her and don't think she could get elected so why waste my time. I would work on local campaigns and just not vote for president. Believe me, I am not alone in this. She ignores her base and tries to play to some mythical middle ground. In so doing she speaks to no one but her own ego.

9. I don't think she's electable |
|
But I've been wrong before.
I do believe the difference between her and Bill would be their governing styles. If Hillary had a democratic congress behind her, she wouldn't govern from the center like Bill, she'd probably be more outspoken about what she really believes and wants....and I don't think she wants to be a "moderate" President. This would be the chance for her to govern further from the left than any President before her and if she had the support, I think she'd go for it.

I think she leaned right in order to get the Senate seat because she thought that was what was necessary.
I don't trust her and I wouldn't vote for her but I really think if she thought she had the support, she'd be a lot more Progressive and we'd see a lot less pandering to the right.

13. Maybe, but her pandering makes me not trust her AT ALL. |
|
If she "leaned right" for political reasons (which I agree with you, she did) then I STILL don't have any respect for her (which I don't, beCAUSE she did). Better to stand up for what's right. The people will wake up and come around, as is shown (FINALLY) in Connecticut.
I don't think she would suddenly become more progressive-acting once she got in power. I don't respect people who go with the polls and lean whichever way the wind blows. I used to really respect both Hillary and Big Dog, but I'm starting to see them more as the politicians they are and questioning whose interests they really have at heart.
I respect your opinion, I just happen to differ sharply on Ms. Clinton.
