Latenight Hardball is 100% Lieberman Coverage |
|
10 minutes left and not one word from Lamont
This is total bullshit - the spinning and one sided coverage for Lieberman is nauseating.

Nothing positive, except from David Schuster.

9. Mike Allen is such a * suck up. He gets absolutely |
|
breathless and dewy-eyed when talking about *, much like Matthews. No bias there.

4. the language they are using, except for Schuster |
|
is that those who voted for Lamont or who support Lieberman's defeat are "far left extremists." The spin is disgusting.

6. Tweety DID predict this morning that the CT election would be decided by |
|
"The Grownups." Now that the grownups in CT have in fact spoken, there seems to be a lot of shock and denial. See the CNN threads, too. Never has the state-owned media been so repulsively transparent.

10. Odd - on local NBC in Conn. last night |
|
Matthews was on for a while on NBC-30 and seemed pretty sure that Lamont had a good chance in the general election since there was a dynamic that would give Lamont a bump after the victory last night.

I also noticed that there was no Lamont...no interview...not even any of his victory speech. The story wasn't Lamont's win, but Liebermann's loss and the shock waves that sending through Tweety and all his beltway buddies. They can't figure out who we are and what to make of us. We're a growing majority in this country, but these goons live in the corporate fishbowls with little concept of the disgust and anger directed not only at the Repugnicans and their appeasers, like Lieberman, but at them as well.
Amazing how the story line is how Liebermann came oh so close...and not how he was 50 points ahead in March. When I heard Tweety kiss Liebermann's hack campaign manager's ass, that was the end of Tweety for tonight...it was over to the Daily Show rerun.

11. Tweety does not matter |
|
Lamont won and gave Leiberman to go on TV and show the world that it is all about him and not the Democratic party. He displayed an unbelievable lack of class. Energy must now be spent exposing this selfish egotistical has-been.
