I can understand the USA whooppee brigade being overjoyed at the sight of a news presenter getting blown away in an apparent defence of Israel because the comparison I guess is being drawn against the USA media.

The fact is that Sky News, despite the fact it is Murdoch owned , competes against the BBC and Channel 4 news stations and trust me - none of them have shown bias to either side in this conflict. If anything Sky have infact given far greater coverage to Lebanon. If anyone in the UK wants to contradict that then feel free.

By posting that interview on their own site just after it occured Sky have simply further exposed Galloway for the loudmouth he really is.

I have watched a number of Brits really angry at Galloway. When arguing with them, this is one of the statements that was made-

"...his own party ejected him. He's friends with saddam hussein, and got his mate in the fire service union to call a strike just as the iraq war started, so soldiers would be held back to cover.
oh, and papers were found in Iraq to show that he was getting oil to sell in order to weild his massive political power."



I vaguely remember some controversial things about Galloway, but the above statement seems to indicate some big troubles. I would normally not care, but these comments came from one of a few people in a forum that I really respect.

but he sure makes alot of sense in the video. Seems like alot of people who speak out get quickly branded as being kooks, liars, or worse. Then the rumors or lies are repeatd for so long it becomes "fact".
