Sen Harry Reid should strip Joe L of all committee rankings ASAP |
|
Wanna run as an indie, Joe? Then the democratic leadership should treat you as the backstabbing little shit you are.
From Wiki. "On August 8, Lieberman conceded the Democratic nomination to Lamont 52 percent to 48 percent. He has pledged to run as an independent in the upcoming election.<139> Recent three way polls show Lieberman far ahead of both Lamont and Schlesinger in the general election, polling almost double the support of second placed Lamont.<140>"

I want to see all of the prominent Democratic Senators come out right now and endorse Lamont. All of them. Now. (This means you too Senator Clinton.)

6. read some of the letters sent to Reid |
|
by Daily Kos people http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/8/8/231459/7695Mr. Reid:
I learned this evening, to my disgust (if not my surprise), that Joseph Lieberman has decided, against the will of the people of Connecticut, to run as an independent against the man who beat him, Ned Lamont. What kind of Democrat is Joe Lieberman?
Given that Mr. Lieberman has decided that, in fact, he is no longer a member of the Democratic party, there is no reason to count on him (if there ever was) to support the party's platform, its voters, its leaders, or its vision for the future.
I urge you, as a loyal member of the Democratic party, to relieve Mr. Lieberman of his duties to the party. With his vow to run as an independent, he has proven that it's NOT his party, though he can cry if he wants to. He should not serve on any committees. He should get no money from the party. He should be denied the support of the party's leaders. He has no honor, and no loyalty except to himself (and perhaps to GW Bush). Throw the hypocritical rascal out, and put someone in his place who can demonstrate both principles and loyalty.
Sincerely,
|

12. Since Joe has left the party |
|
he has no right to those assignments.
We tarred and feathered his stinky ass and ran him out of town on a rail. Keep him moving.

16. Well, he did conceded his democratic "D" behind his name last night.... |
|
Why should he be allowed to keep his roles on committees for the Dems?
Seriously, that is a question I have for Harry Reid....
