5. Franken opened the show saying he was a longtime supporter of Joe
He talked about the many fundraisers he did for him but now he has to put the party 1st.

Franken has been slow to recognize that we should get out of Iraq, he still doesnt recognize voter fraud in 2004.

7. I don't understand why that is funny.
We are the Democratic Party. Lamont won the primary. EVERY frickin' Dem - no matter who they supported in the primary - should now get behind Lamont.

Lieberman's bid to run as an Independent is the last grasp of a desperate man.

6. LSK sees Franken as more or less a traitor in the same mold as
Lieberman. So it's hypocritical and hilarious that he would attack Lieberman.

Please correct me if I have mistated.

Shumer and Hillary.

9. Yes - but you have strong negative feelings towards ll of them
or have i misjudged you?

I mean there are people to whom DLCer is a synonym for scumbag or sell out.

16. In Other Words, Sir
You recognize that he is aligned with the overwhelming majority of registered and active members of the Demcoratic Party, and reflective of the people who actually vote in great numbers for Democratic candidates....

10. No,
It has more to do with the fact that Franken rightfully trashed the presence of 9/11 conspiracy spewers such as LSK in the ranks of Democrats on http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=125&topic_id=105806&mesg_id=105806">yesterday's show

11. Franken really likes Lieberman
In his book, "Why Not Me," a fictional novel about his run for the 2000 presidency, Franken actually picked Lieberman for his vice-president candidate (this was before Gore did it in real life) because he wanted to have a balanced ticket of both a reformed and orthodox Jew.

Franken's a good guy, but he is a little too cozy with the powers that be in the DNC.

14. Yeah, but I can see Franken just doing that for the bit.
He could have picked Lieberman just so he could write the line about a balanced ticket with both a reformed and orthodox Jew. He is a comedy writer by training. Nevertheless, I don't doubt that he likes Lieberman.

17. That was because of the punch line! And they say liberals have no sense
of humor.
