Stupid Things that you catch American Corporations doing today: |
I'll go first: American Corporations, like Crate and Barrel, get their feathers and down for their pillows from ... Thailand. They say they're sterilized, but, what's wrong with using feathers from American chickens which as of yet do not have any recorded history of bird flu? And why don't they warn people on their catalogs? This is like a steakhouse importing their meat from England. (No offense to our british viewers)
Anybody else?

1. Are the pillows manufactured in China? |
probably easier to ship feathers from Thailand than from the US.

2. I don't think that's the point. |
The point is to identify the conduits where we are most vulnerable with the bird flu. Using American chickens and American workers might make us safer.
