Israel now claims AP is also doctoring photographs
The Israelis claim they have a photograph that was taken by an AP photographer that appears to be doctored. A photograph published by the AP and Reuters shows a Lebanese woman mourning the destruction of her home. The problem is the same woman appears in another photograph in another location two weeks ago mourning a different home.

Israel claims it is just more evidence that the international media has an "extreme anti-Israeli bias."

After recieving e-mails from bloggers in the US, the BBC removed the AP photo from its website. The AP has yet to comment on the alleged photo.

1. I have no patience for those who seek to deny real atrocities.

2. Bingo
I'm sick of this Israeli spin. 1,000 dead - over a million out of their homes - 74 bridges bombed, several buildings and homes destroyed. Fugg off with the one doctored photo.

3. Does Israel question the slaughter of women and children in Lebanon?
Does Israel deny that it is killing women and children in Lenbanon by its bombing campaign? I consider the authentification of photographs to be a ludicrous complaint in light of the slaughter of women and children.

5. But, but.......
....I just heard it yesterday on CNN. Some Israeli Ambassador said that Israel is not, NOT, targeting Civilians. Israel says it is Hezbollah's fault all them Civilians are dead because they are hiding among the Civilian population. Israel feels sad about all the dead women and children, yes they do, but they are not targeting them. No, Sir! It's just unfortunate collateral damage.:puke:

6. but ofcourse
its always a doctored pic if it hurts their image - not that it's not hurt already. I actually have no clue why they would even care at this point, no one's stopping Israel from it's massacres anyway.

8. It's laughable....maye the woman has a twin sister or a relative who
looks like her...who knows. But, to accuse AP and Reuters of being biased towards Lebanon is ridiculous. Altering smoke angles is the worst I've heard. But this just sounds like small stuff when we have live video reels of the disaster there.

9. New York Times 'used fraudulent photo'
man who appeares to be playing dead in a New York Times photo essay entitled "attack in Tyre," is seen in other photographs in the same essay walking around and pointing.

Under the caption of the photo in question, the New York Times wrote: "The mayor of Tyre said that in the worst hit areas, bodies were still buried under the rubble, and he appealed to the Israelis to allow government authorities time to pull them out."

10. Israeli PR machine at work...
This is my favorite part of this article:

"A BBC photo display entitled "In pictures: Conflict impact," made up of eight images, uses six out of eight pictures to illustrate damages in Lebanon , but pays scant attention to the human toll and large-scale damage sustained in northern Israel . "

I still remember the breaking news story that an Israeli man was a casualty of a Hezbollah rocket attack, not because he was hit by the rocket, but because he had a heart attach from the stress.

Now I do mourn any casualties, on both sides of the conflict, but I hardly thing the reason there are more news stories of Lebanese casualties is because the news agencies are biased. It's more likely that there are 10 times the number of casualties to report on in Israel.

It's all about proportionality. There is more news to report in Lebanon at the moment.

11. They have every right to make this claim.
It shouldn't be so easily dismissed if it did indeed happen. I personally would rather have the truth represented than some doctored version of it.

14. The US and Israeli governments are very high on my list of
people not to believe right now. Both do blatantly illegal stuff and protest innocence too much.
