Tony Snow: "This is a defining moment for the Democratic Party."
He's giving his briefing at "The Western White House" (gag) on MSNBC live now... and he's using it to smear Ned Lamont.

"This is a defining moment for the Democratic Party. They are the cut and run party. As Bin Laden has said, Americans will have enough, and then they'll stand down. Democrats have chosen to walk away, to wave the white flag on the war on terror. The will of the people has been tested, and the Democrats have failed. This President will never walk away."

11. They are scared, and they are shameless.
They continue to insist the Iraq War is part of the war on terror. They continue to slander Democrats. They continue to insist the President will never walk away from his own policy, good or bad. They insist that is a sign of his strength.

The country is waking up... actually, the alarm clock went off in Connecticut last night.

Tony? It's over, buddy. Wake up and smell the reality. The country is onto you, you sniveling coward.

41. they care because Lieberman was an effective shill for them
He was always quick to go on TV to support Bush and criticize Democrats, subtly giving the message that other Democrats are just partisan Bush haters and that the BFEE is not really destroying this country - that's just partisan hyperbole. And then all the pundits can say - gee, if only the other Democrats could put their partisan bitterness inside and do what's right for this country by enabling the Bush administration.

21. Tony Snow: "This President will never walk away."
And he'll never admit defeat, either. No matter how many soldiers he kills and injures in the process. He'll drive us deeper into debt, allow American citizens to starve to death in the streets, die a slow painful death due to the high cost of medical care and prescription drugs, lose their jobs to outsourcing, suffer under the hardship of high gas prices, work until the day we die because there won't be enough money to retire on, and have our civil liberties and rights stripped from us in the name of our own good.

That sure sounds like someone we want to stand behind and support now, doesn't it?

The public is beginning to see through it. To say the war in Iraq is the same as the war on terror only works on the backwash Republicans. Even they don't believe it . . . not really.

Isn't this kind of a poor example to the rest of the world when we have an honest election by the people and then the official spokesperson for the President bashes it to hell?

Ahhhhh....I see. It's only Democracy if the results are what you want. Otherwise it's "the far left has taken over the party". :wtf:

73. Oh yeah, I'm gonna let tony snow tell me what's a "defining moment"

76. It says a lot about his boss and the stupid people in charge.
Remember, we ain't looking for OBL anymore (despite the fear the M$M gets from his name) oh wait...that is to make him think we ain't looking anymore. Ohhh. Wow! Brilliant! But wait, what if we really don't look for, oh there we go, let him think that we don't care. Dam

Brilliant! :dunce:
