them have a "polite" but angry EAR FULL! I called for him to be fired for promoting an Armageddonist view of the world because of his youthful loyalty to Pat Robertson who gave him his first job. I said that I thought CNN had become nothing but a tool for Propaganda and that I was OUTRAGED as an "AOL/TIME WARNER" subscriber and that I'd had enough of holding on and waiting for any "FAIR and BALANCED" reporting from them since Ted Turner had reliquished his involvement.

This will never happen, but if each and every American did as we do - refuse cable or satellite TV in their homes, cancel all subscriptions to mainstream media, they would change their ways.

Our Tv is hooked up for video games and DVD's and the occasional David Letterman or 60 Minutes. My health and sanity were suffering when I watched any corporate "news" so I don't do that to myself.

My whole life has been that...so to "tune out and turn off" means that I might "miss something" to post here on DU.

I need to do this..so I'm caught in this spider web of OUTRAGE...but to turn it off means I won't have the knowledge to FIGHT IT! And...I want it better for my kids and grandkids and EVERYONE out there who is OUTRAGED that what WE OWN can't even be VIEWED by SO MANY OF US!!!

And I love to watch TV too, but it was becoming hazardous to my health. I still watch for fluff.

When I had access to satellite for a couple of days a few months ago, it was like a whole new world. I kept that TV on Democracy Now and the foreign film channel. I can understand how it could become addictive.

When I go back to work, I'll have the plasmas all over the place but I don't get to watch much.

And kudos to those of you brave enough to report back to the rest of us.
