They have the ENTIRE media to spin this in a good way. The average American tends to have a short memory. If they pull the troops out in the next month or so, then lower the price of gas in October, then plant an Osama Bin Hiding tape, it almost assures Republican re-election.

get the troops outta there and save face; they know how unpopular this war is with the American people, and there is an election coming up... And I think they know that they may not be able to get away with election theft this time around, so in order to retain power, they need to find a way to win legitimately...gonna be hard for them, since there is nothing legitimate about reThugs but their bank accounts.
