They are brazen thieves and liars |
|
Not only does Bush admit to wire tapping Americans, he's declaring it legal--and he's pulling all of the records from Google to boot.
These are two of the assaults against the Constitution that Gore just warned us about.
And with BushCo, it seems that rather than back off when accused, they advance even further--kind of like, since everybody's sqawking, it won't matter if a few more issues are thrown in--and of course that muddies up the original issue.
I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of their assaults. It's becoming more and more personal.

1. The real sad part of this is that they think that this will stop |
|
terrorists. It demonstrates just how desperate they are for any kind of useful information.

3. Stop patriotic americans from what? |
|
Call me crazy, but this thing looks like another misguided government cluster fuck that produced no useful information, but had the potential to personally damage a lot of totally innocent people due to mishandling information and mistakes, much like the "extraordinary rendition" program.

5. They Are Using It To Stop Any Political Opposition |
|
they can simply blackmail any Democratic politician who gets in the way. If that doesn't work, they get Wellstoned.

7. Why would they bother when ignorance and apathy is working |

so well? It's very reliable and costs them nothing.

9. fox and the others collect plenty of revenue from advertisements |

The content is provided as an after thought. The copy for those programs practically writes itself. I mean, how hard is it to expound ultra patriotic and mindless jingoistic gibberish? About as hard as it is to expound bogus bible scripture or to pitch a vegematic.
