Counter White House: Extreme Right defeated moderate GOP congressman
The Bush WH is sounding the alarm that the "extreme left" wing of the Democratic party defeated Lieberman. But why isn't anybody in the media asking them about the defeat in the primary yesterday of moderate GOP congressman Joe Schwartz, a supporter of stem cell research, abortion rights and opposes a ban to same sex marriage. He was defeated by a extreme right winger in his party primary, but, of course, it's the democratic party which only has an "extremeist" element!

And what will happen when Chafee is defeated in his primary by a right-winger next month? Will the pundits say that there is no room for moderates in the GOP? because it's being taken over by extremist right wingers?

Another example of media bias in this country.

2. Excellent point! But alas, the MSM is hopeless. And as long as that's all
most 'Murkins watch, I really fear for our future in this country.

3. things have already shifted so far right, there is no "extreme" right
Seems that Dem leadership has written off the Democratic nominee, but she more closely represents all of the people in the district than that nutjob that beat Schwarz.

She does need our help. We have until November.
