1. Traitor Joe is going to be all alone soon. |

I almost feel bad that the guy can't see the writing on the wall. The only way he can win is another 9-11.

... yet another tirade from a Repub, about how we stabbed Ol' Joe in the back, yaddah, yaddah, with: "You mean just like you guys stabbed Katherine Harris in the back? She gave you guys the White House, and now she's been hung out to dry."

5. Mehlman couldn't even say on Hardball..... |

that he supports the Republican candidate in CT. He said it was for the people of CT to decide. That tells me that there will be Republican money coming in to help Joe.

Not only will he have trouble raising money, but no Democratic Party member endorsements will come his way. And the polling among Democrats will be dismal for Joe as election time draws near. Independents have always had a very tough time in American politics and especially in this case, where no one really knows who Lieberman is anymore. Do any Republicans trust him? Do any Democrats? I don't think anyone will really trust a turncoat. No one can force him out, but Lieberman's politician's ego will prevent him from suffering an even more embarrassing defeat in November, when he sees the writing on the wall.
