O'Reilly claims oil prices will double if US pulls out of Iraq
O'Reilly tonight said that if the US pulls out of Iraq, that Iran will take over the region, hold us in nuclear blackmail, and oil prices will double.

He also said that Lamont and his supporters are pacifists that don't understand a thing about national defense.

2. Okay I will say it..
Fuck O'Leilly!! with his ever decreasing ratings...

There were a lot of military people supporting Lamont...who fought in wars.....and they know that a forever war is not the answer.

8. Have you seen some of the stuff on free republic?
Someone over there said today that if Democrats are in power, and America is attacked again like 9/11, and the people demand retaliation, that the Democrats will stand and do nothing in retaliation. And they say that will be the end of the Democratic party for good.

Another said that if there is another terror attack where one of his family members is killed that he will hold all Democrats personally responsible.

10. Oh geez
When the towers fell the freepers said the democratic party fell along with them. They are always saying this will be the end of the party or that will be the end of the party. It's just wishful thinking on their part.

6. Pulling out of Iraq will cause herpes
And the sooner the liberal media get the picture, the better. O'Reilly is the antibiotic ointment on the seeping wound that is truth.

Or something. :silly:

7. Actually, oil prices have about qudarupled since ....
Bush took office...a few weeks before he took office, oil was going for about $18/bbl.
If memory serves me correctly the day he took office it was around $23/bbl.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it doubled if we left IRAQ, it will probably double regardless of if we leave or not. We hhave no control over the security of it now nor would we if we left....

16. We have been controlling it. Have been since the start of the war.
The mission in Iraq was to stop the flow of cheap oil so the friends of Bush (Saudi's) can up the price.

11. Here is how the freepers justify the 3.00+ gas
Gore wanted 5.00 a gallon gas, so if Gore was in office, we would have 5.00+ gallon gas. lol

What the hell, we better 'stay the course' then. Gotta keep them SUV go-juice prices low.

What we are seeing is the test marketing of the next rationale to be rolled out for continuing the occupation. WMDTM, Fightin Em Over ThereTM and Fledging DemocracyTM are quickly losing their luster.

Time to roll out the threat to the Merican Easy-Motoring-Fast-Food-Way-O-Life.

I've been expecting this.
