11. Joe has come out of the republican closet - he called Dems "cut and run" |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 08:44 PM by Tin Man
...did you hear him recite the "cut and run" talking point about Lamont? Joe is definitely putting his own interests ahead of the Democratic party - he's a fucking traitor.

In CT you have to be registered in a party to vote in a primary, so the Republicans who voted for him would have been committed enough to bother registering Democrat. Therefore, they wouldn't count as Republicans anymore. Oy...I'm confusing myself. Anyway, I sure hope Lamont wins.

14. An arbitrary position, i.e. one that is not based on empirical evidence, |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 08:51 PM by patrice
acquires is strength from single-mindedness. The more arbitrary it is, the more it NEEDS single-mindedness to survive. The longer it survives the more arbitrary it becomes, until the arbitariness of the construct:validity of inevitable truth ratio becomes so high that a redistribution of factors occurs. Hopefully it will be a non-violent redistribution when it happens. The sooner the better; that's why it IS kind of good to let them go to the end of their "rope".
