this offer? I think even the Bush Administration knows that bin Laden has no leverage because their spin is that they put bin Laden out of business. Well, as far as Iraq was concerned, he was never in control.

I took the "truce" comments to mean "no terrorist attacks on American soil, or that of our allies". I didn't think it had anything at all to do with Iraq which is descending into Civil War among the Iraqis.

.....Iraq has been a gathering place for any and all terrorists or wannabe terrorists. Al Queda has been recruiting and training there. Not when Saddam was in power....just since BUSH has been in power. Osama has a LARGE reach into Iraq now.
