If Joe has declared himself an Independent...in the remaining months ahead |
|
is he a Democrat or an Indy?
I feel the party should dump his ass...now.
The Dem Party should show some Balls with its members who are elected to office....and, they shoulda done this with Zell at the time he gave a speech at the Pub Convention...we have no need for Party traitors....

1. You can't really kick somebody out of the party |
|
It's a big-tent party, and there is no such thing as stripping somebody of membership, but you can withdraw funding from him.

2. I think its a bad policy. Big Tent is one thing...but when members get |
|
outta line like declaring himself an INDY...thats another thing. Where is the quality Control? Its guys like him and Zell who give the Dem Party a bad name.

3. Well, the records still show Lieberman as a registered Democrat |
|
All the primary did was tell him he wasn't the preferred Democrat. There is no law in Connecticut that says he can't run, and I believe that loophole exists in many states.

After the elections, Democrat. Until the elections are over and done... Jo·in·Depends® http://www.northshorecare.com.nyud.net:8090/images/depend-pull-on.jpg(my version of Joe running either as an independent or with the "in-Depends®"ant runs) Not ever "Indy" because it's too "catchy"...Edit: Added Not "Indy"...

5. I think the grassroots has to go into overdrive |

It's awful that in this country you have to work so hard just to get a right-wing appeaser replaced with a moderate Democrat -- but the corporate media makes it look as if this is the biggest upset far left takeover in history.
No, it's called democracy -- and it should be a regular occurence. A majority of Conneticut citizens PERIOD -- not just Democrats -- agree with an Iraq withdrawal. I wasn't aware all CT citizens were Che-wearing Starbucks denizens.

8. Sorrowful Joe sez he's putting his state and country over his party. |
|

This lying sack of shit had enough nerve to go on the senate floor to criticize Bill Clinton's "moral failure" for getting a bj. Turns around years later and begs for BC to help him run against Lamont. Then Joe backstabs the members of his party by going independent.
