So the big plot was to plant explosives on airplanes by tucking them in the luggage? Well, DUH -- there's an original thought! I mean, who would think to check luggage on international flights to the U.S.? What is this -- "Terrorism for Dummies"?

Our ports, power plants, rail lines, food supplies, chemical plants, power grids et al don't have the security I'd give an outhouse yet these terrorists would choose the most OBVIOUS, most likely to be foiled plot in the handbook? A third grader could come up with better.

Sorry, but IMHO something about this just doesn't add up.
