Something to ponder when considering returning Joe to the Senate

2. Ummm.... Lieberman.

His "concession" speech was all about bipartisanship and compromise, but his past performance has been more akin to unconditional surrender to the Bush Administration.

Beginning the negotiations from the supposed Center has resulted in a vast Rightward shift of the country. We need to elect true Left candidates and begin negotiating from a position of strength -- not from a state of predetermined capitulation.

Until then, we need to keep emphasizing Lieberman's capitulation to Bush, and his all-surrender-all-the-time approach to negotiation.
