2. There's a great documentary, "Lightning in a Bottle" Chicago Blues
and Wilson was profied--it plays on cable frequently, I saw it just a day or two ago, and heard the Pickett tunes again--sure love the guy--will miss him.

5. sad day...Gonna rent The Committments and watch in his honor.
It's not really "about" him...but...sort of. If you've not seen it you should. About a band in Ireland with a thing for Pickett. Great rendition of Mustang Sally. One of the best songs ever.
