We can't argue that Bush's Iraq invasion and Middle East policies result in more terrorists and potential terrorism, which I believe is true, and then dismiss a foiled terror plot in the UK as a diversion from Connecticut politics, or anything else. If we do, IMO, we look like myopic fools.
ON EDIT: SORRY, I'M ASKING THAT THIS POST BE DELETED. I ACTUALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE POSTED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DEFEND IT -- I HAVE A PLANE TO CATCH AND I NEED TO GET THERE EARLY!

6. Yes, but the plot wasn't operational. |
|
Why not just report it and move on like normal people?

4. Considering that is exactly what is happening in the real world |
|
Sure we can. Witness, the London bombings last summer. Also witness the "foiled Miami terrorist plot" this summer. One was the real deal, the other was just a bunch of tough talking kids whose words got blown up by Homeland Security into being some sort of massive "terrorist plot" when nothing was there but air.
These two dichotomous concepts can indeed exist side by side. The trouble is how to seperate what's real and what isn't. Frankly Bushco is doing their best in order to keep the sheeple from doing exactly that.

5. I was just thinking about this |

Because we have been lied to, over and over and over, we are skeptical.
Because hatred for Americans is probably at an all time high because of Junior's so called foreign policy, chances are we will have terrorist attacks here.
But it still boils down to the same thing. We're on our own. There is no reason to believe this government.

"Be scared be very scared only the GOP can protect you", that kind of thing. That's all they got going for them.

10. I highly doubt this plot is fake...on the other hand... |
|
there have been massive fuck ups in the past that have been exploited by this administration. (Meaning the fellas in Florida. Dumbshits all of them, but our government treated them like they were full-blown al-Qaeda members.)
There were real communist spies in our country during the '50s, but that didn't excuse the behavior of Senator McCarthy. Do you understand?
