6. I don't know, ask the tons of folks here |
|
who are claiming this was completely fabricated to wipe the Lamont victory off the front page (never mind the fact the Lamont victory probably won't even be in papers outside of CT after the first day and wasn't in many to begin with)

2. Well if you belive the tin foil hat brigade |

then EVERYTHING is a conspiracy, right down to George W Bush being personally responsible for that annoying moth on your lightbulb.
It doesn't matter when the terrorist choose to strike. Some moron will always be trying to twist the situation to fit in with their own agenda.

Perhaps because it is an alleged plot to blow up international flights leaving an international airport, full of people from different nations ?
Just a guess though, i'm no expert.

...a large stake...in the acquisition of something that isn't mine...and I've tried for decades, centuries even, to wrangle control of it away from it's current owners. I am now in cahoots with more muscle than I've ever had before, and my dream is close to fruition. I take care of my buddies, and my buddies take care of me.

This is because President Tony is in even more deep shit than usual over being an enabler of Israel's assault against Lebanon

9. First perhaps you can get this title right |
|
He's the Prime Minister. It's kind of hard to have both a President and a Queen.
Second, Blair is not in any more trouble than he was a year ago, and nothing is going to "save" him. No one at the elections last year honestly believed Blair would serve a full third term. His resignation is inevitable, and anything good/bad he does is not going to affect it more than a few months. I'll be very happy when he goes, but Blair has been a lame duck for a very very long time.

And this is worse in terms of the establishment reaction. THe people's opinion stopped mattering to him years ago. On Lebanon, even his cabinet are on the verge of walking out on him.
And while, no, it won't help his poll numbers, it won't stop him from trying.
I call him President Tony because he wishes he was a President
