The simple truth: Bush lost the war on Terror when he invaded Iraq |
|
After 9/11 we had the world community behind us and we were united in pursuing Bin-laden into Afghanistan and what happens? Bush diverts the American military and our precious resources to settle an old family score with Saddam Hussein. Iraq has never been about the war on terror! No Iraqi's were involved in 9/11 and no WMD have ever been found. It's as simple as that. With the Iraqi invasion we went from a united world to one which is bitterly opposed to us. Bush bares the blame for this.
So, when the White House, the media and Lieberman try to portray Iraq as part of the war on terrorism Democrats need to be more proactive and tell the truth--Bush let Bin-Ladden off the hook with his pursual of Saddam and fucked up the real "war on terrorism."
It's no wonder that 50% of this country think Saddam was involved in 9/11 because we have let Bush get away for all to long with this line and it has to stop. It's clear that they are trying to use Terror to make a comeback in this fall's elections and we can't let them get away with it again.

2. Yes....and let's hope that the "average American" is starting to see this. |

What is going on in Lebanon only complicates what we will have to deal with in the future.
Someone really needs to answer for this. Lots of "someones" really need to answer for this.
