nothing.

it does make some people feel better though.

Even today, its trivial to get a weapon onboard an aircraft. Its easy to get a liquid container aboard

Without strip searches/body cavity searches, terrorist CAN get liquid containers aboard. They can still mix them and create explosives.

its that simple.

But TSA does make people feel good about standing in line.
