Does anyone know if the terrorists had materials to go with their plan?

I can't seem to find an answer to this question. After reading dozens of stories all I find is, unprecedented - unimaginable - mass murder - liquid explosives in plastic bottles - days away from death and so on. If they were "days away" they should have had the goods. Did they have materials, or was it just a plan?

I suspect there was someone who tipped off the Brits, but NOBODY has said anything about finding any materials at all!

5. Story is they were monitoring this group to see what they were up to,

they started moving faster than expected, so they captured 6 of them today.

At least that's what I've heard all day.
