Dems Should Ride Today's Terra Story To Victory In November
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 08:05 PM by stopbush
Dems need to stay on this story and keep it active in the public's mind. This story is a win-win for
Dems in every conceivable way:

1. The liquid bomb story was aired on NBC back in March, yet bushco did NOTHING to stop
potential terrorists from carrying liquids and bomb components onto planes for 6 months! Even
though 21 airports failed tests back then, the bush administration did nothing to implement a
policy that would have kept the offending liquids off planes.

2. Where's Osama? What is bushco doing to track down Osama and dismantle al Quada? Nothing.

3. Iraq War has EMBOLDENED terrorists around the world. It has created more of them and more hatred
toward us.

4. Bush attacks science, but science is what will develop the cutting-edge technologies needed
to stop emerging terror strategies. Bush prefers a faith-based approach ("trust us...just look at our record.").

5. Five years after 9/11, and we're no safer: checked luggage basically unchecked for bombs, etc.

6. If and when this "terra story" starts to fall apart and becomes not such a threat after all, Dems should be
positioned to make it clear to the American public that this was yet another conveniently political
story that bushco used to scare Americans.

7. "Do you feel safer than you did 5 years ago?" Not a bad campaign slogan.

8. The Brits used an undercover agent to infiltrate the terra cell. Bushco outs undercover agents working on WMDs
when their husbands disagree with Dim Son.

5. Don't forget...
Shopping malls
Sports arenas
Subways
...

This is truly a failed administration.

Yes, we MUST remind everyone that we are NO SAFER than we were pre 9/11.

Had Enough?

7. How about a commercial with a picture of OBL
and the announcer saying, "Why is this man still sending us videos from an "undisclosed location"?

12. LOL, either one works really but
one does have to know how much involved in creating terra the second man is. That unfortunately is lost on many Americans.

8. Osama is only one guy
and his capture would only be a symbolic victory.
I believe Osama has nothing really to do with any Al-Queada planning. He's just a figure head. All of his hench men do all the dirty work. We need to work more on getting those guys.

6. I Just Said to My Husband
If the Dems don't run with this and take back Congress, this country deserves everything it gets. The Dems have so much ammunition. Hopefully, they will know how to fire it.
