Is there any way to just hide all posts on a particular topic? |

I know folks are all atwitter about this latest terrorist plot, but although I'm interest in it, I really don't want to discuss it. I wish I could type in a couple of key words and hide all posts with those terms in the title. Good idea? Bad? :D

2. Well, you can hide a thread |
|
but of course that means you have to click on it first, which sort of defeats the purpose. I like your idea.

4. Well, I just clicked on 20 or so of them "X"'s, BUT |
|
each time I click on the "X", I have to then click back to get back to the forum I was at - a LOT of work.
It would be nice if I could check all of them at one time and "hide" them all simulataneously.

You can discuss this topic all you want without criticizing me.
Why are you harassing me today anyway?

I've wondered the same thing - it'd be nice if I could just hide all threads w/"Coulter" in the title. It's a good idea.

8. I remember I was hiding like 50 Coulter threads back when book came out |
|
It was a sickening time for me - I sure wish it didn't take SO much work to hide those threads.

11. Well, another way is to put a few people on ignore who post the threads |
|
you dislike.
Voilà!
Many of them will be gone and then you can easily hide the few threads that remain. :)

12. lol - true, though I never consider that option |
|
I have learned to ignore people who have gone off of the deep end, but I don't put people on ignore and many times the people will reform themselves over time.
I do find it overwhelming with so many topics on one subject, though I have chosen to comment on a few of the more thoughtful/interesting posts. Oh, well - I just wish I could hide with a single click - that would help.
