3. So 58% of muslims in Britain want this. |
|
It doesn't seem like a big percentage to me because I get the impression certain members of their community probably weren't asked like the women.

6. What gives you the idea that women weren't asked |
|
when the survey specifically says women were asked? That's why it says "Final data weighted by gender and age to match profile of British Muslims"; "Men more likely to say ‘my country’ (53% vs. 45% of women)" (to question "Is Britain 'my country' or 'their country'?"); and it talks about the male vs. feamle answers to many more of the questions, especially those about attitude to women.

even if the women are asked, they will say what they are told to say. What makes you think they could even be alone with an outsider without the presence of a male relative?
Considering how the polls are often skewed in this country I don't put much confidence in surveys anyway.

10. The survey was done by phone |
|
and it's quite possible to use female questioners when surveying female Muslims, and male ones for the men. Some interviews were conducted in languages other than English. So if there are any who aren't even allowed to answer the phone, then yes, they will have been missed. I believe that would be a very small percentage of Muslim women in the UK, however.
The results do show that replies from women say there's more sexual inequality than the men say, so some are certainly expressing their own views.

9. Are there polls in America that ask people if they want "Biblical law"? |
|
enforced? (whatever that means)...
It seems its a silly question to ask the same of "Muslims"...I mean if Muslims in Britain wanted to live under Sharia law they could move to Saudi Arabia. They choose to live in Britain.
The question is really supposed to imply/reinforce to those of us who are not Muslim the notion that they (Muslims) are plotting to overthrow "our way of life".....just total BS
