7. The news cycle

on these events is always the same.

Day One - sensationalism and news anchors in sombre tones parrotting the govt scare story word for word.
Day Two - a few more details come out and suspicions are aroused amongst the more perceptive.
Day Three - another story hits the headlines, as more details come out about the terror story they get less prominent coverage

Four years later...we find out that everthing the govt told us was a pack of lies but the story is buried on the inside pages of the newspaper.
