Bush's Terror War is like fighting a thousand ant piles |
|
When Clinton was in office there were a few small bands of terrorists and when they hit us or another country we would lob a missile into their camp and try to kill them. Sometimes we might hit them others we would miss and they would move to a new location never growing much if any. Now with Bush in office we are attacking whole Muslim countries that never attacked us and didn't even have any terrorist cells in them.
The other day I accidentally stepped in a fire ant pile and thousands of ants just went nuts attacking my foot committing suicide to protect the ant pile. Sure I killed dozens of them smacking them as they bit me and brushing them off my feet but I sure pissed them all off! Imagine if those ants were smart enough to follow me into the house and attack me at night in my bed????? Ouch!
So before, we had a few small bands of ants that didn't have a pile attacking us and we attacked them directly. A pretty good way to fight an enemy! Now we are attacking ant piles that never attacked us and trying to get those ants to follow our ways of doing things and the ants are swarming out of the hole in frenzy ready to kill us and get us away from their hole that happens to have oil next to it.
We need to stop stepping in ant piles and go after only the extremists who want to kill us. If we don't, we will have to continue to try to foil terror plots forever because we are creating millions of potential enemies!!!!! Democrats are not against fighting the terrorists!!!! We are against stepping in ant piles!

1. I thought the comment by McCain |
|
last week, if memory serves me, calling the strategy "Whack A Mole" was pretty good.

2. The "Whack A Mole" thing refers to us moving troops from one place |
|
to another. We are now moving troops away from many cities we have some control over and into Baghdad which is out of control, leaving those towns open for insurgents to move back in. Of course the insurgents are not stupid and are going to leave Baghdad and go to those towns that are no longer adequately protected by US forces. That is classic "Whack A Mole"!
Our leadership for this conflict is so incompetent it's insain!

Then * has the nerve to say he's the only one who can protect us from the hornet's sting.

5. There are still only a few bands of terrorist but.................. |
|
the neocons need you to believe that there is a vast, worldwide, ultra sophisticated network on operatives bent on destroying the nation. No terrorist can destroy our nation. We seem to be very capable of doing that ourselves.
