Check out my local newspaper's editorial
I live in Muskogee, Oklahoma, USA. What used to be the epicenter of the Democratic Party in Oklahoma. It has slowly deteriorated into a DINO type atmosphere with the likes of Senator Tom "Rampant Lesbianism" Coburn and Representative Dan "DINO Supreme" Boren. Our local newspaper was owned by Gannett for a long time and was recently bought by a small conglomerate (the name escapes me at the moment).

BUT, what to my wondering eyes should appear when I clicked on the editorial this morning. Has the kool-aid machine been unplugged at the newspaper office? Here, read for yourself and let me know what you think....

13. Even if they don't agree, maybe it will make them think and
question the motives of those who would try to keep them in a constant state of fear. Maybe more people will start to see the light.

6. The kool-aid machine was not unplugged, it was pulled off the shelves
along with the Gatorade, so that no crazy moslims can mix it with hair gel and blow it up with an Ipod!!!

Edited on Fri Aug-11-06 07:55 AM by Nabia2004
That is the first time I have seen our own home grown "Christian" terrorists mentioned in any US publication.

15. Who was the Senator who recently said
You have no civil rights if you're dead. That really pissed me off, brought out the Patrick Henry in me it did. I was so pissed I didn't get his name, I really wanted to write someone about it.

17. Great LTTE
When I visit it seems to me letters from the left are more common in the Muskogee And Tulsa papers than they are in anything you'll find in western Iowa.

20. I love seeing so many newspapers taking a stand against the Bushies
Several saw the light in 2004. Many didn't.

November should go poorly for the neocons as a result of all these editorial wakeup calls.
