What's the BFD about August 22nd? |
|
I just heard Asswipe Beck on CNN scaremongering about August 22nd. Said that the radical fundamentalists think it's the end of times or something. What's the deal?

I can't wait until all the fundies are up in heaven so that we can have some peace here on earth.

10. Greek orthodox calender? |
|
The difference between the age old competing Roman calendars cause a difference of a week or two. Further complicating visionary matters is the need for post adjustment like leap year corrections. So when the leap year of faith rolls around a cyclic prediction is always bumped- for the sake of corrective rationality- to the next convenient date.
Until someone invents a Christian Tarot deck the exact time of these leaps cannot be foretold until the false prediction is actually made.

Of course, the rapture-ready would have to pick my birthday to complete their Ascension deal.
I just hope I get my presents before all hell breaks lose (isn't that what they claim will happen?).

6. Should be interesting to see who gets raptured... |
|
and who gets martyred?
By the way, I'm thinking bringing down a few airplanes or even 10 airplanes is not going to bring about the end of the world.
