She had to fly from Toronto to Halifax on Aug 9 for a funeral. She's returning today, Aug 11. Because it's such a short stay, she took carry-on luggage only.

On Aug 10, those idiotic "security measures" went into effect for flights originating in Canada too, including purely Canadian domestic flights. She's got her make-up, hair care products, toothpaste - as well as hair dryer and an expensive hair straightener - which I doubt that she'll be able to take into the cabin. She's also been out of phone contact, and probably too busy to watch news, so has no idea what she's about to experience when she gets to the airport today.

If I have to put up with a crabby wife all weekend, I'm blaming it on Americans. In fact, I'm preemptively putting all of you "on notice" right now.

Thanks, America. Thanks for ruining my weekend.
