How many ways can they rip us off further? They're already charging for pretzels. Already charging $15 for the exit rows.
Bottled water at the door for $5? Toiletry kits for $10?

Flying is more fuel-efficient than driving. Overseas travel gives Americans a more international outlook than domestic travel (obviously). So who wins? Republicans and oil companies. They would be happy if the only things in the air were military aircraft and corporate jets. They want the age of civil aviation to come to an end.

If that is a new permanent change I suspect that it's motivated by the associated low profit of that option (since airline employees are required to invest so much more time to these little guys.) By tagging it onto the new liquid rules they're hoping most people will just accept it as a security measure.
